IT Operation Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Raunheim, HE
Responsibilities:
Manage the client service, infrastructure, networking, telecommunications etc., responsible for supporting the delivery of existing IT services.
Improving continuously the service by defining the baseline for standards that need to be achieved covering hardware, software, asset management, maintenance windows, monitoring and security patching etc.
Ensure escalation support for technical issues is provided through to satisfactory resolution.
Build and maintain an IT operation strategy that supports the business goals. The solutions should be flexible, reliable, and cost effective.
Actively manage a team of 3 in the area of IT operation and different 3rd party suppliers, ensuring solutions meet timelines & quality standards and costs are in line with budgets
Ensures all IT Infrastructure and services adhere to IT security policies
Define and continuously improve the process and policies of IT operation.
Developing project scopes and objectives in the area of IT operation, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility (including draft design and IT costs)
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Other tasks assigned by line manager
Requirements：
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field OR at least 5 years of relevant professional industry or AND previous IT Infrastructure, IT Management, Software developement or IT Business Operations experience.
Strong technical background and knowledge of IT infrastructure and end user service, combined with well-rounded awareness of other IT areas including networking, storage, systems administration, and databases
Experience in architecture & design, technical delivery, and technical support
Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
Demonstrable prior experience working in a similar role
Strong customer focus, ability to meet and exceed their expectations, resolving issues and developing solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and German.
Clear logical thinker with ability to think conceptually, demonstrating creativity and innovation
Experience with vendor management and budget planning for Capital and Operational expenses
Excellent planning and communication skills and able to lead conversations with development, product, support, and operational teams
