Research Specialist – Substrate Materials Science, Unilever R&D Shanghai
Responsibilities:
1. Design and preparation of novel micro/nano structure, esp. on metal substrates.
2. Surface modification skills through either chemical or physical methodologies.
3. Develop product prototypes and make evaluations relevant to real applications.
4. Raw materials scout and evaluation.
5. Write Research reports and summary of the scientific and technologic work.
Requirements:
1. PhD in materials science, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, and major in metal material science and processing is preferred.
2. Experienced in different surface micro-/nano- structure fabrication methods, including chemical and physical way.
3. Experience in surface micro/nano construction on metal surfaces is necessary.
4. Familiar with metal material processing and evaluation technologies
5. Familiar with material science experimental skills, on metal materials preferred.
6. Basic knowledge in chemistry.
7. Self-motivated, proactive & able to work independently
8. Good communication skills
9. Good command of English in oral and written and skilled in MS office.
