The Centre is now looking for a “Project Manager - Legal” for its office in Beijing. ( L5 T' }# {* z) C: s; ?# x! ^& M! `7 D; F
The Project Manager will be reporting directly to the Legal Expert and will be involved in:) d) z8 M2 ]- z- m6 x
- Establishment and maintenance of knowledge products on legal questions such as guides, reference papers, and databases on legal issues relevant to European SMEs; 2 C+ B6 U5 \$ K% M7 {% z8 J' \0 O9 O- Organisation of training courses, seminars, workshops; and & H2 f3 r8 u5 t- Handling of daily inquiries from the European SMEs. 9 {# ?7 e# P3 v+ N7 U

Excellent understanding of China’s legal environment for business, particularly from the perspective of challenges faced by foreign companies investing in China and exporting to China; ' z3 O+ M% T! z3 n; U, a( F M2. Ability to work independently and to analyse and report clearly on complex legal and regulatory issues; * O; q/ ?& N. h1 g4 Y5 l3. At least three years legal working experience in China, in particular with regard to Chinese company law, commercial law, labour law, customs law or taxation law; {/ p& |! v/ D6 \: H1 z0 D2 G4. Graduation from a Chinese University with academic degree in law; an advanced international law degree would be a plus ) t5 Z0 ]' X: x) k; M4 E' [
