Java Web Backend Developer in Web Analytics for China (m/w)

shops more successful and managing them more effectively. Webtrekk “tracks” website visitor data to
identify a wide range of success factors and optimization potential for a high impact web presence.

Our client portfolio includes BILD.de, Esprit, Tchibo, Zalando, KfW Bankengruppe, DIE ZEIT and
Hubert Burda Media. Webtrekk GmbH currently employs more than 60 people to continuously
develop and improve the company’s products and services.

We are looking for an experienced, competent, reliable, independent and motivated (Senior) Java
Web Backend Developer in Web Analytics for China with an immediate start.

What you can expect:

• You will work as part of our team of developers to build technologically advanced solutions for
national and international clients
• Implementation of software components in JavaScript another programming languages
• You will be involved in every project phase and will have the chance to apply and enrich your
knowledge of design, implementation, testing and integration
• Take advantage of new IT technologies

About you:

• University or other higher education degree in computer science, business information
technology, computer engineering, media technologies or mathematics
• Excellent knowledge and extensive experience in programming web interfaces within Java
Frameworks
• Responsible, Goal orientated, quick learner with strong analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly, outstanding analytical skills, creativity
• Team spirit and enjoyment of agile, project-related work
• Experience with software engineering methods (process modelling, OOA/OOD), software
development tools
• Experience with Java (standards, programming and patterns)
• Curious to learn new topics
• Business proficient English and Chinese，or German and Chinese

It would be advantageous if you have:

• Experience in development using Eclipse, Maven, SVN, JUnit and test automation
• Experience in working with databases, scaling models and Big Data
• Experience with agile development processes (Scrum)
