Hi guys,

just to share my personnal experience on how to beat them, and gain victory when playing single match against them... <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge_smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge_smile.gif' />

1.) Rino (the guy who looks liked he is from Russia... <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /> )
Strong points: Good stamina and also fighting spirit. He never give up till the match is over. So when playing against him, you can only relax when its match point.

Weakness: Extreme weak backhand at the backcourt and also strange footwork but he is really alert in the front court. However, his backhand (backcourt) and forward (front court) is highly suspected. To beat him, you have to try to play cross court (diagonal) balls with him. Basically speaking in simple play, you have to give him a dropshot at his forhand and then try to catch him at his backhand back court. Never play simple shot with him. He is strrong and powerful, so playing simple shots will put you in difficult position. Because his foot work is suspected, thus it better to play a more ''drop shot....lop...cross court with him''. Make him run front and back and make sure his footworks gets into problem. These are his biggest 2 weakness.

2.) David
His play is not consistent. And his fault rate is extreme high too. Making nice shots and also fancyful plays are his trademarks. And these are dangerous. He is a attacking player, his smashes are strong howerver not really killing. So when he is ready to kill or smash, make sure you are ready to push the ball to another corner.
He does not cover the front court as well as Rino thus, his front court is a bit weak. Personally, i find his back court good as his backhand is strong too.
It must be noted that he has a tendacy to ''guess'' your next shot. In some sense, its good however if you can disguise your shots well then its also easy to play with him too.

try to get him to use his backhand. And move him around. I find that these players have a liking have using backhand. His footwork is not bad, however his speed is slower than Rino.

3.) ''Total''
He is a good player. i have to admit. His shot are good and also precise. On his good day, its quite difficult to beat him.
Some of his weak points,

1.) high liking of using backhand. Normally when a person uses his backhand, its means that his backcourt is suspected. And i think his backcourt 2 corners are not so strong. So playing long ball with him is more ideal. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbs_up.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='thumbs_up.gif' />
2.) Never smash cross cout to him cos his defense is good. (It means smash only side line) <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbs_up.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='thumbs_up.gif' />
3.) Never try to dropshot in the first play cos he is well prepared in the front.
4.) Try to be stable and confident in your play and win the first 7-9 points. Its the crucial stage of every set. As i have realised that his mistakes rate is extreme high when you are leading during this stage of the game.
5.) I think to play him, try to play him straight. Example make all smahes, lop and dropshots in straight. Only cross court when necessary. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

Of course, when playing them, take your time to serve and relax.Do not rush. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/heart.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='heart.gif' />

|
