去英国开会+旅游该申请何种签证？

+ o$ Q9 ?, `3 d- B4 Z. o2 i& u+ f想请教坛子里的去过英国的兄弟姐妹，我7月份去英国开会，之后想在英国玩几天，该办visitor签证还是business签证？而且我看到申请网页上说：

) U4 h9 J9 S  q9 e1 w( z- J  ?+ e0 oIf you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) in the country where you are currently living, you cannot apply for most types of UK visa in that country. You can only apply for:

    a Tier 5 (Temporary worker - creative and sporting) visa
( Z0 Q' z: V/ Z    an EEA family permit

7 q  R2 D+ z, m- p8 x我是学生，持中国护照，没有入籍也没有长居，那是不是我只能申请visitor签证？但是好像visitor签证的话又不允许你在英国参加会议啥的。。。那我到底该申请什么签证啊？急盼回复！

不用着急 其实两个都可以

' C) I- Y+ F/ K* j  S5 \/ HIf you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) 这是说如果你是游客访客就不行了 凡是拿到resident permit的都算长期居留许可

既然开会 就办business吧

英国签证最少有效期半年 而且多次入境 你现在申请 3月底就能出来估计 奥运都能去看了 呵呵
