If you really don&#39;t know who is John Fowles, who is Virginia Woolf, I absolutely have no problem you googling them, I don&#39;t hold animosity on people who at least want to know the answer. But, if you really want to compare oranges with apples, like you want to compare literature with science/maths, pick something else, maths is really not something you should be boasting here. Trust me.  <br /><br />I have no  interest reading 万历十五年, but it has nothing to do with it was written in english or chinese (and I am fairly certain you didn&#39;t read it in english). I  happen not to be a big fan of history, pseudo-history and everything alike. And I happen not to be a big fan of Mr. Smug.
