Tax Specialist – Düsseldorf

A Tax Specialist is needed on permanent basis in Düsseldorf, Germany on behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company. Applicants should have local experience and be eligible to work in Germany.
Responsibilities:

● Accurately and efficiently manage tax planning and reporting and ensure compliance of tax laws for the company and client;
● Prepare the required Government documents concerning taxes with quality;
● Ensure the integrity of all financial reports in accordance with German Accounting Standards and the client’s policies, and help the client with yearly audit and get the clean report;
● Presentation of key management reports and analysis, internally advise and offer solutions to pressing tax problems;  
● Make improvements to processes where appropriate;
● Continuous Learning & Team Management

Job Contents:

● Customers and vendors’ invoice/documents handling like issuing, keeping, booking and posting, and other necessary work to make the tasks delivered;
● Monthly/yearly accounts closure (AR/AP/GL) and deliver the financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow statement, Statement of Changes in Equity and financial notes);  
● Coordinate in tax handling;
● Be adept and capable of operating the accounting info system as required by the Company;  
● Coordinate in tax handling;
● Do project accounting and deliver project-related financial report;


Requirements:

● At least 3 year work experience in finance/accounting area;
● Familiarity with German accounting standards and tax rules, e.g. HGB;
● Knowledge of financial software like Datev or Oracle etc.
● Fluent German and English in spoken and written, Chinese is a big plus but not mandatory
